The hot new Iroc Sports Car concept from Volkswagen
Recently unveiled in Berlin, the Iroc sports car concept from Volkswagen is roughly based on the Golf hatchback with a honey-comb radiator grille and a face the company claims is as yet uncommon for most vehicles.
The low slung coupe features a roomy interior with four cozy and 300 liters of luggage
space which can even be extended if the rear seats are folded.
Sporty details like classic motor sport bucket-style front seats decked with integrated five-point harnesses and a central buckle add a nifty touch to the Viper Green metallic coupe while the recently launched 1.4-litre TSI super/turbocharged engine (the same as in the new Golf GT) chugging out 210bhp, really gives the vehicle a nice “kick”.
VW is keeping mum on when the sporty Iroc might make it to the street, conceding only that that it certainly is a “possible series-production vehicle”.
