Altair 70 Yacht can Recycle Electric Power using Photovoltaic Panels

Amalgamating an aesthetic form with sustainability, Pama Architetti Design has rolled out a solar-powered yacht called the “Altair 70” that harnesses renewable energy to provide a clean and green sail on the waves. Made of fiberglass, the 70-foot yacht includes a large array of photovoltaic panels that can generate about 5KW of renewable electric power. Integrating two large wings to increase the surface area and thus the amount of energy produced, the yacht also presents a modular lower deck, subdivided into three blocks, which can be furnished in different ways to cater individual needs. The Altair 70 closes the forewings during the sail that when moored raises to provide two comfortable, shaded areas fitted with tables and sofas to entertain your guests.
