Google’s first Chrome OS laptop, the Cr-48, uses flash storage and an Intel Pine Trail processor, has a Qualcomm Gobi 3G chip for Verizon data (choice of international carrier), and comes with 100 MB of free Verizon data. The computer’s full size keyboard has a row of Apple Keyboard style action keys instead of function keys, an oversize clickpad, 12.1 inch screen, and webcam. The Cr-48 has 802.11n dual-band WiFi, and provides eight plus hours of active use and over eight days of stand-by use. The Cr-48 keyboard also does away with the caps lock key, replacing it with a search button. Cr-48 refers to chromium. Google’s first Chrome OS has no branding, logo or showy designs, and comes in only black
