If you are music lover and have a lot of old tapes of your favorite music but you couldn't get your favorite music on CD. No problem, in-fact problem solved the small box known as Cassette Mate can convert your old tape recordings into MP3s.

Cassette Mate connects to a PC through a USB port. It also contains software which gives you a range of options for recording the audio as the tape plays and stores it on your hard drive as an MP3 file. It even detects the pause between songs and splits them up into tracks if desired.

Another best thing about this gadget is that it costs only $30 and runs off of 2 AA batteries. But this device is missing the ability to plug some headphones in and use it as a conventional portable player. Cassette Mate is created by Japanese gadget maker Thanko.
